Quiz answers cyrillic case sensitive issue

I could not find the answer are the Contact Form 7 Quiz answers case sensitive in the plugin Quiz official documentation, but I have found the answer to that question in this forum post.

You have answered that Quiz answers are not case sensitive. For Latin characters, that is true.

But, when I used Cyrillic characters, the Quiz answers are becoming case sensitive. Here is the example:

Снега е студен или горещ?|студен

In this example of Quiz question and answer, the form submission only works if the answer is студен, and doesn’t work for the answer Студен.

Is this a bug in the Contact Form 7 plugin?

P.S. I have have checked my database encoding, it’s not case sensitive.
