• Hi guys,
I’d love to add a Quiz feature to my blog (https://www.joysandsorrows.co.uk) but my search thus far has been fruitless. Any help locating one would be much appreciated. I’m using version 2.0 of WP at the minute.

    Cheers,

  • There are some quiz and test plugins. However, you’ll nee to check to see if they are 2.0 compliant. They are called wp-quiz and wp-test. They might do what you want.

Funnily enough I found wp-quiz just before I came back to check for responses. Can’t find wp-test anywhere though.

    The same person did both.

Well consider me stupid! I found wp-exam and wp-quiz but not wp-test… I’ll have another looky. Ta.

Where did you found wp-exam? Also is somewhere a test version running of that wp-quiz thingy?

I wanted to find something similar to wp-exam, but more of a Survey, not a test. It wouldn’t have “right/wrong answers” and wouldn’t give a score. But it WOULD have the different types of questions (radio buttons for Choose 1 from the list of choices like Multiple Choice question; checkboxes for Choose All That Apply from the list of choices; and it should have OTHER: field for fill-in-the-blank responses.)

Anyone seen something that would work? I’ve tried 3 or 4 survey plugins, none had the different question-types.

If you can post wp-exam i might try and edit it.

    There is a survey-creator plugin.

    “There is a survey-creator plugin.”

Yes, I’ve found 4. None appear to be in active development or complete. None do the basic things a survey should do (like asking multiple choice with Select Just 1, or multiple choice with Choose 3), though. The only reason I mentioned it here is, wp-exam is closer to what a survey should do, except that it’s based on right/wrong answers instead of just collecting input and displaying aggregate results.

As commented on another thread, I am looking for the same thing. A survey with various question capabilities (radio, checkbox, drop donw, open ended) and then will submit a confirmation email to the user and once confirmed, post to a database.

I haven’t tried this one, but it looks like it could work: Survey Fly
