Quote in the highlight terms

    Hello, I have a problem with the highlight terms, I get quotes sometimes in the search items and I didn’t get the rule behind it.

    It came sometimes with the special caracters and sometimes not, and another times with the capital letters…I have a script that let me open the tabs when they contain the highlighted term so with this code it don’t work as expected.

    Any help ?

    I’m sorry, but I don’t understand the problem. How does the problem appear on the page you linked? As far as I can tell, the page seems to be fine. Can you elaborate?

    Hello, for example in this link; you will find : (Ouverture?de?l’UQAM’en?septembre 1969) with a quote after UQAM..

    The searched sentence was juste: Ouverture?de?l’UQAM en?septembre 1969 without the quote.

    I see. I tried reproducing this issue on my test site, but it’s not happening. Relevanssi won’t add any extra apostrophes. I don’t even know where in the process these extra apostrophes could appear. Figuring this out would probably require some debugging for the relevanssi_highlight_terms() function on your site to see where the extra apostrophes come from. It’s something specific to your setup, as I can’t reproduce it on my site.

    I enabled this option “Extend highlighting to whole words.” and the quote disapear. It was that function that was adding the quotes: relevanssi_add_accent_variations. Thank you.
