Quote Status & Payment Method Issue

After receiving a quote request, I click the “view and edit this order” link that appears in my email. I used to be able to change the payment method of the order but that option no longer pops up. When I send the quote/invoice to the customer, the payment method is set to “request a quote” and they are unable to pay for the invoice. In addition, after the customer clicks the “Pay for order” link in their email, the quote/invoice does not show any prices at all.
Any assistance in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
