Is this plugin compatible with Stripe Radar 2.0? https://stripe.com/docs/radar/checklist

Or is it turned off by default? It tells me it’s not getting customer name or customer object.

I hope I’m not missing something obvious. I see no mention of Radar in the FAQ. I also checked the plugin settings, settings help, and WC documentation for mention of Radar.

WC doesn’t seem to be passing address/zip to Stripe for verification on every transaction.

Yes it is. Are you using version 4.1.2?

    Hello,
I wouldn’t tell it is, I’m using the latest version as of today, and it is not. The problem is explained in this topic: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/upgrade-radar-2-0/

Can we get a clear answer on how to use Radar 2.0? Is it working only under specific setups?
    Thank you.

    Hi @atx

    [Edit for clarity and update]

Radar 2.0 will work completely with version 4.1.2 of the Stripe extension.

    Thanks,

I’ll monitor and update if I have any more info. With several variables (card issuer policy, Stripe, plugin, site config) it’s difficult to know if it’s working in all cases.

The Radar 2.0 Integration Checklist says to “include Stripe.js on every page of your site.” The plugin doesn’t seem to do that (at least not automatically or from what I can tell.) It’s important to note, I’m talking about Radar version 2.0, not earlier versions of Radar.

It is not required to include Stripe.js on every page for Radar to work. That is just an additional step to further protect the site.

Royho, I appreciate your viewpoint. From my viewpoint, Radar works when it stops fraud. If fraud gets through, it didn’t work. Many factors influence that outcome, including how crafty the criminals are. But I’d be happy to stick to discussing what the plugin (which I acknowledge is for Stripe payment, not overall site protection) does and what the site owner needs to do to integrate with Stripe.

I’ve manually added the Stripe code to the footer in a widget.

    Hi @aaron843

But I’d be happy to stick to discussing what the plugin (which I acknowledge is for Stripe payment, not overall site protection) does and what the site owner needs to do to integrate with Stripe.

As the payment goes through the payment page, and you’re using Stripe for the payment details, this is what you would need to do.

Are you receiving fraudulent orders with Radar 2.0 active? If you are, I recommend reaching out to Stripe to find out about this and let them know. Radar, from what I know, won’t stop everything but it will heavily reduce fraud on your site.

I’m going to mark this as resolved as Roy and myself have advised, our extension is compatible with Radar 2.0 – if you have any further questions, please do reach out to us via WooCommerce.com, or confirm with Stripe that you have everything set up.

    Thanks,

hi @dougaitken sorry but i don’t understand how is compatible if i am using the last version of plugin and on stripe radar 2.0 section i can’t upgrade because of this:

Create payments using the customer object

Save cards using the customer object

    ?Provide customer email address

which are not working and need to be fixed.

    Thank you.
