• Hi,

as I didn’t receive feedback from premium support …

With Mid-May-Updates the backward compatibility of some store list shortcodes was not given anymore but WCFM confirmed that will be fixed, but it isn’t with Mid-June-Updates (I run latest version of everything). Example:
Q1: How to have one store list (all vendors) without sidebar and another store list (premium vendors)? Before I used sidebar=”” but is not working anymore (sidebar needs to be checked now from admin backend).

Q2: The radius filter (Openstreetmap) works perfectly if sidebar is deactivated. But not working on sidebar (no fatal error, no chrome console error). Location Filter is NOT activated as you mentioned in other post. Not working means:
    – If following code snippet is used, then the field to enter a town etc. appears but no proposals to select a town is given to the user.
    – If following code snippet is not used, then not even this field to enter a town appears.

    code snippet:

    Hi,

Before I used sidebar=”” but is not working anymore (sidebar needs to be checked now from admin backend).

    – This configuration will still work buy this short code attribute changed to “has_sidebar”.

    https://docs.wclovers.com/store-list/

If following code snippet is used, then the field to enter a town etc. appears but no proposals to select a town is given to the user.

    – This script is no more required.

Please use Google Map API, Openstreetmap not able to show all these addresses. It’s location library is very limited and only works for popular places.

    Hi,

    – This configuration will still work buy this short code attribute changed to “has_sidebar”.
Thank you, that works! Q1 is closed.
Please: If you follow your link to the store-list-shortcodes you will see that there’s NO “has_sidebar=”” in there. Could you please add this so that others don’t need to bother you for weeks to get this information. Thank you.

    Q2:
    – This script is no more required.
Well, as mentioned: If I deactivate the script, than the radius filter in the sidebar doesn’t show the field to enter a location anymore.

Please use Google Map API, Openstreetmap not able to show all these addresses. It’s location library is very limited and only works for popular places.
For my country the library is excellent so OSM is better choice for me. And it works fine if sidebar is deactivated.

But as mentioned. The radius filter still works ONLY below the map if sidebar is deactivated, not in sidebar! Here’s my shortcode:
    [wcfm_stores theme=”simple” has_state=”no” per_row=”3″ per_page=”20″ include_membership=”1738, 2159, 2317, 2348″] (+ sidebar checked from backend).

Q3: Is it normal that the map
    A) doesn’t move to the location that was selected in the radius filter and
    B) that on the map all shops are visible and not only the ones filtered by radius filter or any other filter (which I would expect)?

    Concerning Q2:
I was told more than 4 weeks ago about the radius filter widget not working in store list sidebar:
    Hi SebastianFloKa,
This issue has already been reported. It will be fixed in our next update.
    Thank You!

    This was here:
    https://wclovers.com/forums/topic/after-the-last-update-of-the-plugin-i-cant-view-any-data/#post-130842

In case you need to see the video in the post as a proof that it’s not working, please inform!

And just to mention: yesterday we reached 8 months since I’m intensively trying to make WCFM run.

    same problem

i fix it, i have delete all widgets in sidebar and all sidebars and edit the shortcode in this way: [wcfm_stores has_search=”no” has_radius=”no” has_country=”no” ]. and at last i re-add the widget radius in sidebar and it is working.

update: the widget radius was in conflit whit wiget ajax search bar for woocommerce

HI, thanks but unfortunately I can’t reproduce how you fixed it. Did everything exactly the same even used exact same shortcode, but still doesn’t work on sidebar for me (can you reconfirm you also have openstreetmap, right?)

But what changed is that now I have an error in console but can’t find solution and I’m not familiar with that (I deactivated autoptimize but doesn’t improve).

    Hi,

Please update WCFM Marketplace to the latest version (3.4.2) and test this. Hope this will work now for you.

Kindly clear site caches and check once. Clear server side caches and CDN as well.?

    Thank You

    Hi,

I did a quick check and yes, radius filter widget is working properly in sidebar with OSM now after fix in last update. But only as long as the map is activated. It doesn’t work together with has_map=”no”.

The idea was to have back
a store list A for all shops without radius filter and without map and
a store list B for premium shops with radius filter and with map.
    both with sidebar.
But has_radius=”no” doesn’t eliminate the radius filter widget in the sidebar, so above described scenario is still not possible, right?

    Hi,

I was using google map api, also updated WCFM Marketplace to the latest version.

However, radius filter on both map and sidebar widget still not working and giving me the wrong results. Because it’s on my localhost?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Any news on this? Will this be solved in next update?
Again: if the radius filter widget is active and combined with has_map=”no” then the radius filter widget is not working anymore.

And if the map is disabled on a certain store page it used to be possible to also have this radius filter widget not be present (not be visible). This also not possible anymore.
