    Hi,

I am looking for a solution to sort multiple tickets with ticket numbers in one transaction.

Example: Customer wants to purchase 5 tickets to win a watch, he is brought through woocommerce check out where he is then upsold further tickets. He has now 8 tickets within the one order/checkout.

    Question.
    1. Can this plugin split the 8 tickets into individual order/ticket numbers?
    2. Can we set the ticket/order numbers ourselves?
    3. Will each order/ticket number be sent to customer in order confirmation?
    4. Lets say we have 800 tickets in stock will this plugin discount tickets from stock?

Sorry for the long post. I need to rectify this asap as the plugin I currently have is taking a lifetime to process orders.

    Many thanks

@pmtray I will try answer each question in same orders. What i understood, you are selling multiple items in one order and later you want it to be splitted into separate. On separation, you are expecting control over the ORDER NUMBER, which is not possible in this version yet as WordPress is generating UNIQUE ID for each post and i am using the same pattern.

    Question/Answered

    1. Can this plugin split the 8 tickets into individual order/ticket numbers?
    Yes

    2. Can we set the ticket/order numbers ourselves?
Answer: No, but you can mask them. There are plugins which will let you enter a customer order number. Original order number will be hidden and your custom number will start appearing. But my plugin will not do this thing.

    3. Will each order/ticket number be sent to customer in order confirmation?
Answer: Yes, there is an option with checkbox. If you will check that, it will send emails.

    4. Lets say we have 800 tickets in stock will this plugin discount tickets from stock?
Answer: If i am understanding it correctly, so you are saying that sold items or splitted items should be reduced from the stock. Look, sold items are already excluded from the stock. On each split, no need to reduce again. Am i right? In case i didn’t understand, please explain it again.

Thank you for your prompt response.

Please forgive me I am not at all technical, I have however sent link to my developer to join in. To explain in layman terms.

I am selling multiple tickets for one item. I need each ticket to be split into separate tickets in order for these to be stored as individual orders for the backend database and to export all ticket numbers to an external raffle draw company to pick the winner.

Q2. Thank you. Can you recommend a good plugin which will mask them?

Q3. Instead of sending emails to customers can the ticket number be integrated into our current order confirmation in woocommerce?

Q4. Yes, sold items ie. 8 tickets sold above, will they be reduced from stock by this plugin?

The developer is going to test your plugin, we are hoping it will be just what we need.

I can only answer about the Q4, yes, it will be removed from the original order and only show in new order. Other questions are your custom requirements and your developer can handle it well.

    Hi Fahad,

I installed and tried the plugin buts it’s not splitting the order for some reason.

Like if I add the quantity of 8 into the cart and then check out it considers this as a single order and does not split that into 8 orders. I was wondering if this feature is offered in the free version or do we need to get a premium version?

    Thanks

Splitting is a basic and FREE feature of this plugin. Other split methods with different level of complexities aren’t provided in FREE version due to time consuming support required for each use-case.

@adilfarooq, what i understood from your requirements, you are expecting a default quantity split.

Please attach your settings screenshot for both tabs, first and 2nd so i can help you better.

Ok here is the link to both tab settings.

What I am looking to do is split a single item order having multiple quantities of the same product.

For instance, I add the Rolex Watch Item Quantity 8. So instead of having a single order for this. I want 8 orders placed.

    I hope that helps.

    Thanks

We got the issue. It will be fixed soon. Thanks for reporting the issue.

As per your settings it is not possible what you want, because you are using default mode and in this mode if some one ordered more than one products like

    product_A – qty 2
    product_B – qty 3

After Order this will split in 2 orders like

    Order 1 has (product_A with qty 2)
    Order 2 has (product_B with qty 3)

The thing you want will cover in Quantity Split mode which is premium feature of this plugin.

I hope you will understand this.

    Thanks

Hi, Is there a trial period for the premium version as we are unsure if this will work for us. Happy to purchase upfront of course.

    Thnaks

Unfortunately trial period of this plugin is not available, although there are four split methods available in the free version you can test these methods if these are working fine as per given situations So, you can assume that it will also work well for your method.

    Thanks

I have tested the plugin in Free version it indeed splits the orders but the problem I see is it does not splits the products separately, but displays both products in both splits. So, a parent and child order both looks kind of the same. Have a look here https://ibb.co/p1tGHgP

The order 1075 and 1077 contains same details.

Which split mode (Default or any other) you used for placing this order? I’ll check with same settings.

Here is the screenshot of the settings. https://prntscr.com/rt2u64
The split action is the default.

Please also share the screenshot of the 2nd tab Thanks
