I tried to check the image on the site but I’m not quite sure which image that should be. I mean:
– in main header there is a “Hanks Rescue” logo image that shows up
– browser console reports that this image
/wp-content/uploads/theme-config/images/background.png
is not found. Is this the one?
Given the location of it, it shouldn’t be processed by “Bulk Smush” tool at all so shouldn’t be affected – unless you used “Directory Smush” tool and specifically selected images in this folder to be processed. Did you use that tool?
If yes, then in “Bulk Smush” settings (even though Bulk Smush doesn’t process images outside of Media Library, its settings are applied to Directory Smush too) did you by any chance have any of these options enabled?:
– resize original images
– optimize original images
and also
– can you check and confirm if that /wp-content/uploads/theme-config/images/ folder is writable (is not write protected)?
