Random 404 in Chrome when activating plugin

  • I’ve installed the latest version of this plugin (1.4) in WordPress (3.5.1). Plugin works fine, Facebook widgets are nice… No problem at first sight.

    Unfortunately I noticed some strange behaviour in Google Chrome. When my Facebook plugin is activated, I’m getting random 404 errors. Deactivating the plugin solves this problem.

    I also removed all Facebook widgets and activated the plugin again. But no luck…

    I tried different PCs, different Chrome’s… Cleared my cache… all no luck.

    I’ve looked into a lot of topics before posting here but wasn’t able to find the right solution.

    Does this sound familiar to someone? Please help!

  • When FB app is activated, do you still get 404 in other browsers?

    I get similar issues that I have been unable to pin down. If however I change to FireFox I can reach the site without problem.

    No, I don’t have 404 errors in other browsers like IE or FF. But my initial post wasn’t accurate enough. The 404’s only occur on the visitors site. I don’t have any problem with WordPress admin.
