Random “Ad Choices” Link Shows Up in Header

    I recently re-installed the Ad Inserter plugin and was once again faced with the issue that originally caused me to uninstall it. The plugin automatically inserts an “Ad Choices” link in my header. It originally appears as a triangle and when clicked on expands to say “Ad Choices.” On IOS devices the link leads to an app that enables you to opt in and out of ads and on Android devices it leads to a page that allows you to do the same. This “Ad Choices” link appears only on mobile devices and whether I have an ad in the header or not. It also follows me down the page. As I scroll, it follows, sitting right in the middle of my screen. Naturally any help in fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated and most likely lead to me purchasing the full version.

    Hello,

    the plugin inserts only the code that is configured.
    Even if you uninstall the plugin the settings stay. So if you installed the plugin you may still have some old settings from previous installation.

    To reset all the settings and start with no insertion go to tab * (plugin settings) and click on Reset All Settings.
    After this the plugin should not insert anything.

    To help you to locate the blocks inserted by Ad Inserter you can use debugging functons:

    However, I can’t reproduce the screenshot above.
    It would also help us if you enable remote debugging and we’ll check.

    The reset did indeed solve the problem. However, I noticed I lost a bit of functionality. I no longer see the option to choose between showing certain ads via tablets, phones or desktops.

    I purchased the pro version but can’t get it working because I keep running into this error: The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

    I’ve run into it before, but can’t seem to get it working now following all the instructions listed here except contacting my host: https://atlantisthemes.com/fix-upload_max_filesize/

    Do you know of another fix for the error to get the pro version working?

    Also, instructions for updating from the free version to the paid version were a bit vague. Do I delete or deactivate the free version first, then upload the pro version?

    Before you install and activate Pro version you need to uninstall (remove) the free version.

    You can manually install any plugin by uploading the plugin files (using FTP) to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder. I’m sure if you contact Pro team they will help you.
