Random ARMember Subscriptions are becoming ‘Suspended’ accounts
-
Hello All and thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
I am using the plugin called ARMember Pro and it is causing me massive trouble technically speaking and has also put me in an awkward position with my readership. It is telling me that a good percentage of my paying members have been flipped to non paying ‘Suspended’ subscription status.
I am using WordPress version 5.8.3 in tandem with Elementor, using the Astra theme.
ARMember, which has an insufficient customer service function, is supposed to process payments and the user has a choice between PayPal and Stripe. These problem users are split between both members and represent 25% of my membership. The other 75% seem to be fine.
As you might imagine, it would be completely awkward for me to reach out to these people and ask them if they cancelled or request them to check their PayPal/Credit Card accounts. I can confidently say that there would not be en masse exodus of my website as these are people that are happy to pay $8.00 a month for the service I have provided. This is a tecnical issue with the ever-problematic ARMember plugin, which I am inextricably linked.
I have contacted one member who I know on a personal basis and she has reported that she is able to log on to the site and everything is working fine, but this may be due to her still having time remaining on her previous month’s payment.
This represents yet another instance where ARMember is not only costing me revenue, but has put me in a terribly embarrassing position of contacting my members, as I try to slueth my way out of this mess. If someone could help immediately, I would greatly appreciate it and if I’ve left out any detail, let me know.
