    PS. before a few days ago, the system just ‘skipped’ order number 3.
    It then changed order number #9407 to #3 (order from 9th May)

    We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We have gone through the screenshots. Could you please confirm that you haven’t made any order actions to that particular order (#9407) recently? The sequential order number will get forcefully generated if the “Email invoice/order details to customer” action has been performed.

    Yes, I did switch it over from processing to complete. However, I also did this for orders #9408 and #9473 on June 9 and they have not changed (they have remained as #9408 and #9473)

    I have sent a screenshot of order #3 (randomly changed from #9407) last order note
    and a screenshot of order #9408 last order note, for comparison.
