• Version 0.9.2.8

My issue is very random and hard to repro and… I don’t have a repro case yet.

The problem I run into is since I enabled Disk Cache for Pages, Database and Objects, random pages are coming up blank and the only way to resolve is to clear cache. That that point, the page paints just fine.

Like I said, once I clear the cache, the problem goes away however I don’t have a good way of triggering it and only know about it when a user notifies me… ??

  • I had the same problem in my site laopinionpanama.com after upgrade to 0.9.2.11, i had random blank page after deactivating option plugins etc and i did not get good results, i manually drop my cache content directory with rm -rf * and i have one hour without this issue.

I am having the same blank screen of death problem. Very hard to replicate consistently.

    Version 0.9.2.11, Apache, AWS CDN

The following seem to show no effect and I tested them extensively with countless combinations.

    • Compatibility Mode
    • Enhanced / Basic Disk Cache

My guess is that if in fact a bug does exist it occurs with a combination of minify settings, htaccess, url-rewrite, using a child theme and if the user is logged in. I spent 3 of 4 hours trying to resolve this particular problem and in the past have not found this plugin to be cumbersome at all.

I think you have white screen death problem.I had same issue with this plugin. i frustrate to find answer but finally i got ans.

    – login to your site using ftp.
go wp-content choose –> plugin folder and select w3 total cache plugin folder. rename folder name with
w3totalcacheXX. remove related file with w3 total cache..try to login..
if its working then deactive w3 total cache. and install again.

    – Do proper setting – GO

I have the same problem. Random pages are blank and I have tested it on different browsers.

Maybe it helps but I have found out that when turning off the Page cache in the general settings solves this issue. Of course this is not what I want but I don’t have to uninstall the plugin. So now I’ll wait for the next update and hope that this will all be solved…

Hi, I am new to using this plugin, and not sure if this is the same problem I have, can someone have a look at this page and test it..

If you go to the site: https://ballooncelebrations.co.uk/

After loading, simply refresh the page, it will not refresh the page but instead load a blank white page – This is not normal right?
Also, If I then turn off ‘page cache’ then it works on refresh, but strangely this is the only site it does this on, I have a few others and it does not do this…

I keep minify disabled anyway as that just seems break the site, but now disabling that and page cache is a bit much and the plugin may be pointless.

    Thanks,

I’m using the latest update and getting the blank pages issue. In my case I didn’t notice any difference whether adding a trailing slash or not, random pages (often the home page) would just be completely blank. Not even <html> and standard tags with no content, just nothing in the source.

I’d be happy to help with testing and submit bug reports, I am on a shared folder but can try and get access to log files if this helps. I have the plugin enabled with all settings except for Page Cache (Disk/Enhanced didn’t make a difference to the issue) and that all works fine now. HTML isn’t being minified but that’s another issue altogether.

I had the same problem with the new version until i was frustrated and hard to uninstall it. Hope the developer solves the bugs in the plugin. i will now wait until a new one comes

Follow This Tutorial i hope it will help you.

    Hi
I’m having the same issue: blank, white pages, until I press the “empty all caches” button in the plugin.
Last versions of wp and w3tc.

As others, I wait for this issue to be solved.
Meanwhile, I guess I’ll turn it off. I prefer a slow site than a blank one..

btw, w3tc beat wp super cache easily, so I need it to work..

    Thanks.

@eranshefi no doubt w3tc is very good plugin..if you have same issue after deactivate w3tc plugin then you have to delete w3tc folder and w3tc related files manually via ftp. now if you want back again website speed fast and want to use w3tc then clear all cache of your browser and reload Browser and try again to install w3tc and config it correctly.

i had same issue but i want w3tc as a cache plugin. so i do same above steps now i dont have any problem related w3tc.

Thanks mutul shah. It worked ??

I’m having what seems to be the same problem with my site caching white/blank pages for all pages. I’ve had to turn Page Cache Debug off to get my site to load properly. I keep hoping for an update every day when I log in. I don’t want to tinker with work-arounds. I just need the plug-in to work properly. Is there a new version coming out that will fix this problem? I’m using W3T Version 0.9.2.11 and WordPress 3.5.2. My site is here:

    https://dappledthings.me/

I didn’t update W3T. It was a completely fresh install. I would love to get some feedback on this. I have tried to ask around where other people have experienced white/blank pages with no luck.

i just installed this today, thought everything was great, an affiliate program let me know that i had a blank gray page. ??

    Same problem here (blank page).

Turned off CDN, used the basic settings (followed several different tutorials), but still HOMEPAGE = BLANK.

Don’t know what to do, had to deactivate/delete plugin so I can’t really report a bug through there.

Not sure what is causing this, but it’s frustrating since it’s a good plugin.

@mike_wike did you edit .htaccess file? if not so please once remove w3tc related lines.
