@csocialmedia – We do not specifically call the Open Sans font within NextGEN Gallery (although we do call Lato in a similar fashion). This may be something you have to address with another plugin author and/or your theme author.

That’s weird because I tested it by disabling all plugins. The problem dissappeared. Then I enabled them one by one. None of the other plugins gave this issue. When I enable the NextGen plugin, that’s when the code shows up. When I disable it, it goes away.

I will try the theme developers but I just find it strange that it only shows up when NextGen is enabled. Could it be a conflict with NextGen and another plugin or my theme?

@csocialmedia – I agree that is very odd if it only appears with NextGEN Gallery, are you doing those test with a default WordPress Twenty series theme? If yes, which theme are you checking with?

I checked the theme, and it did go away when I activated a WordPress Twenty series theme. But I asked my theme’s developer about it and they told us it has nothing to do with them, they said that the piece of code is from NextGEN.

Could you please tell me where that’s coming from so I can delete it? If you do not know, I will give you access so you can figure it out.

@csocialmedia – Reviewing your page source I can see the calls to the Open Sans font and based on the elements it is being used with I would suspect something within an Elegant Themes product such as their “Monarch Social Sharing” plugin.

I deactivated the monarch plugin but it’s still there. I cleared the cache and everything. anything else you can think of it might be?
