• Hi,
I have a “page” template in my 2022 theme with a cover image. I would like to know if there’s a way of changing the image in the cover on different pages – either randomly from a selection of images, or static images for each page?
    Thanks

  • Hi @itsajungle!

You could go to the Site Editor and use the Post Featured Image Block. This will allow you set different header/cover images for each of your pages just by assigning a featured image to that page.

If you prefer to go for a fully random option, you can try a plugin. I did a quick test with this plugin and was able to achieve this by replacing the static cover block with a shortcode block.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @mrfoxtalbot ,
Thanks! Is there a way to use the uploaded featured image in the “cover” image on each page?
    Thanks

    Hi @itsajungle!

Indeed! You could head to the “Page” or “Single” (for posts) templates, insert a Cover block and choose the “featured image” option. I recorded a video to show how this would work:

Would this make sense? Were you referring to this?
