Random Credit Card Text Field Placeholder

I have this random number 1234 1234 1234 1234 at the placeholder of the credit card form field. Or is this the default placeholder for Stripe?
My old developer is not contactable, thus I’m unable to ask her what exactly did she do and I have tried to source through the entire website trying to find this code to delete so that the credit card form field placeholder can be back to default, however it’s not a successful attempt, I don’t see this number anyway. Anyone have any idea on how to bring back my default Credit Card text field placeholder?

Hello @floramaison,
This is something associated with Stripe Elements and not our WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin. I checked my test site and can see exactly the same placeholder for the card number.
You may want to get in contact with Stripe Support and ask them if there is a filter to change the placeholder. In the meantime, looking around I also found this discussion about a similar requirement that you may find helpful:
