Random gallery problem after update

    Hello there,

    I see others posted similar but their queries remain unresolved so I thought I would start a new topic to draw your attention once again to this serious issue after the latest update.

    The problem is the random galleries. On the pages of the site I run, 20 random images are supposed to show up. At present, 1 or 2 show up, sometimes a few more. Definitely not anywhere near 20.

    I have done what the others posters have already done. No improvement. This is clearly a widespread problem that requires a further update to fix. People don’t need a fancy update if it creates problems like this for so many of us.

  • I reported one of the widget problems with random images, and that is under investigation. This report may be the same issue ie, failure to select random images properly for any purpose.
    I look at the 3rd bullet point under the changelog for version 3.0.15 and wonder if that fix, including storing the selection for a time period, is causing all these problems.

    seems to be fixed in version 3.1.5
