You don’t “trick” it. You fix it. See https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Designing_Headers and since this uses the Pages template tag you can delete that and type in any link you want there.

I’m using the theme also. How can I delete the text (name of my blog) that appears in the header? I would like to just have the images appear.

The APPLESAUCY page is different. It’s a word press ‘link’ to a wordpress page. But I don’t want it to go to a page. I want to trick it into being a link for another site.
