    I Have tried this plugin and liked the features.

    I entered my MOZ API details and after noticed that at the top of the page it displayed:

    B-HosklQNluINzyJevk37VNInIFoTM09zzIRE2cBjX4 D620ABD64BEF150B024B9841FE550D4A

    I deactivated the plugin and this left. I then reactivated the plugin and this came back.

    Is there any way to get rid of this?

    Hey @supplementgenie,

    Hope you’re well.

    That code doesn’t look like Moz API details, but maybe that codes coming from “Google Verification” or “Bing Verification” area. Can you check the Smartcrawl > Settings > Search Engines fields?

    If you enter only keys to that area that can cause the problem like you have. You should enter full meta tag to that part. It should look like this;
    <meta name="google-site-verification" content="somerandomcharswillbehere" />

    If you want to save that field empty to fix you can’t do that because of the bug on the current version. But you can write this to that field until we publish fix;
    <!-- -->

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Oguz

    @wpmudev-support8 thank you for getting back to me. Can I check, Is it ok to use this plugin along with Yoast?

    Is there any advantages of using this instead to Yoast?

    @wpmudev-support8 I have checked and it is the Google tag. If i pout a goole tag in this box, regardless of what I put, it shows at the top of the website.

    Is there anything I can do to prevent this? other than deactivate the plugin?

    even when I delete the tag and save it seem to automatically repopulate the details from Yoast.

    Hello @supplementgenie

    Hope you’re doing well!

    Is it ok to use this plugin along with Yoast?

    It is not advisable to use more than one SEO plugin. When it comes to SEO functionalities SmartCrawl has the same as SEO by Yoast, so both plugins cannot work together, they have the same functions and this can cause issues.

    You can import SEO by Yoast settings to SmartCrawl from SmartCrawl > Settings > Import/Export. Plase see attached screenshot:

    I have checked and it is the Google tag. If i pout a goole tag in this box, regardless of what I put, it shows at the top of the website.

    Please make sure that in this filed a full meta tag from Google is added. It should look like this:
    <meta name="google-site-verification" content="or1WiSPMneGZmeGTrC-adpDku8SZl1hzv9gtOeGa02WgYE" />

    Anything other than this code will be showing text in the header of your site.

    Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
