Random Link Distribution

  • Hello,

    this is a great plugin in my opinion!

    I just came across the General Settings and chose the Random Link Distribution Option. But on my pages it always shows the same keywords with links although there are more on the page.
    I thought Random means, that it looks for all specific keywords and randomly choose the amount that was set. Or am i wrong?

    Another thing is I set the Link Frequency to High. How many links are displayed with that?
    I set Same keyword limit to No limit. What does this mean?
    I set Same link limit to No limit. What does this mean?

    I would appreciate if there could be some tooltips or hint popups for the options so that the user can get a little description of what the option means and does.

    The number of links displayed when the frequency is set to a value other than Custom depends on the length of the article. For example, for an average article, the number of links for High will be 4.

    I am investigating he issue with random links. Can you give me a link to an article that does not randomize links ? Also, please give me a screenshot of your general settings and main auto affiliate links page from your wordpress admin panel.

    So random distribution should be done everytime I reload the page, right?

    Same keyword limit option will limit the number of times the same keyword is displayed. For example, if a keyword has 3 occurences in text, but you limit same keword to 1, only 1 will be linked.

    Same link is similar but applies to the same link. You can have multiple keywords for the same link, but if in any given post the limit is reached for that link it will not be displayed anymore and another link will be placed. If you don’t have any link with more than 1 keywords this setting is overriden by same keyword limit.
