Random once?

  • Hi, I like this widget a lot, it looks great with the thumbnail image. But maybe I misunderstand how it is supposed to work? I set it to select a random post to feature. Is that featured post now permanent on a page? It seems to select different random posts to feature on different pages but on any given page, reloading it does not change the featured post like I was expecting it to. It continues showing the same featured post every time I load the page.

    Hello,

    thanks for using and liking my plugin. And thanks for feedback. Unfortunately, since I started studying four years ago, I didn’t do anything about my plugins anymore. I don’t know whether something in the core of WP has changed significantly or whether I just have produced a bug that nobody has reported yet. I will at one point have a look into the code and see how I actually intended it to work.
