random page comments form

    Had this trouble initially with posts, but also with pages – a comments form appears at the bottom of some pages and not others and I do not want comments on any pages at all. They are all set to the default template and I can’t find any other settings that would influence this…
    Any ideas?

    anyone know where/how to remove comments on pages?
    I am getting the comments form on some pages but not all, which seems odd, and I do not want them on any pages at all (only posts)

    oops – got it – the Screen Options panel (top right of admin screen) allowed me to select the Discussion panel to be visible which it wasn’t by default. Still don’t know why the comments form showed up on random pages and not others, but resolved now
