Random posts and output date, author name

Hi!

1) Is it possible to show a random post each time on refresh or after x time?

Not with the current version. You have to select the list of featured posts and those are the ones that’ll be visible.

2) Is it possible to show the author and post date of the post?

Yes. You simply need to create your own template. As explained in our plugin:

Just create a directory named neliofp in your theme’s directory and create the template you want to use such as, for instance, author-and-post-date.php. When inserting the widget, specify that the template is author-and-post-date and you’re ready to go!

The plugin includes a couple of templates as examples. Browse its source code and you’ll see them.

I don’t think so. These days we’re quite busy working on a new plugin (which, by the way, will be awesome), and we only have time to fix issues and offer some support to the users of our other (free) plugins.

But, should we have time in the future, we’ll address this issue for sure ??
