Random start point

    When I use Easy Testimonial Cycle widget, I have it set to Random Testimonial Order and Count to 5. It always picks up first 5 testimonials and displays them in random order.

    I would love “random” to be applied to display order as well as to pick up order.

    I can do this kind of functionality by setting high number in Count (i.e. 50) but it makes higher load on server because all testimonials have to be downloaded before random display.

    It would be better to pick few number of testimonials (i.e. 5) in random order and then display them sequentially.

    In other words. Could “random” be assumed opposite way, than it is now? So it would be possible to display 5 random testimonials out of whole bunch?

    Hey Tom!

    That is something we could do, from our end, I believe — in fact I thought we were already (but that may just be in the Random Testimonial Widget and not in the Cycled Testimonial Widget.)

    I will put this on our issue tracker – we have an update coming out soon and this may make it on that train.

    Hey Tom!

    We were able to get this pushed out with our update today — just be sure you have the Random option checked on the Cycled Testimonial Widget and you should be good to go!
