Random string added to the end of my uploads

Hello,
Recently I’ve uploaded pdfs before and they’ve uploaded with the file name. Now I’m seeing a random string of letters and numbers attached to my uploads.
E.g. https://www.websitename/file-upload/name-of-file-hasjdkf.pdf
Why is this happening?
