Random text on home page

  • Unsure which version I am running. Not sure where to locate.
    My main question has to do with my home page.
    There is random text showing up above my header and a little ways down on the left-hand column.
    I am unsure how to delete and how it got there in the first place.

    Also, what activates the posts to appear in the header? I would like to hand pick if possible.

  • It appears there are some inline CSS styles making the text show up oddly.

    The code I’m seeing is below – the position elements are what’s putting the text there. Do you recall where this text was added to your site? If so – remove the inline position styles and that should fix it, at least based on what I’m seeing. Without access to the back end of your site, I can’t be absolutely sure why this is happening – this is just what’s showing in the front end.

    looks like could be spurious text from a post, do you have a post with that text in?

    If so, try trashing it to see if that fixes(you can recover it again later)
