Random Widget displays

  • I recently updated wordpress on my site and am noticing widget errors. I have tried to fix with everything I know and can’t.

    First, my layout is switched backward the sidebar is on the left which I do not like.

    Second, widgets are set the way I had them and now random ones are showing up all over. They are showing in the footer area, text about widgets is showing on the sidebar and I can’t get rid of it.

    Not sure what is going on.

    Please help.

    1. If you have any caching plugins, disable them. If that fixes it, re-enable them and clear their caches.

    2. Make sure your theme is up to date.
