Randomize a list of most recent posts

I know you can use “orderby” to retrieve a list of random posts. And then you can use “order” to put them in ASC or DESC order. I would like to do the opposite.

I would like to get my 4 most recent posts and then put them in a random order. What method can be done to achieve this?

I saw an old post in these forums from 6 years ago that doesn’t seem to work with the newer WordPress versions. Wondering if someone has some new tricks.
