• I’m trying to acchieve when you book a weekend you pay €195/night. But When you book a long weekend you pay €190/night. So I did the setup of rates based on nights. But it behaves different than I expect it to :). It just always uses the first rule whatever I do .. so in this case the price is always €190, also when I book from friday to sunday. Is there a solution for this?

    Check out my screenshot ..

    Thanks a lot!!

ps: I also noticed when I book from monday to wednesday for example, it uses the discount price for a “long weekend” price on monday. This is not supposed to happen of course. So I need to define a new rule for every day booked on a monday and put this rule in front of the other rules.

@fabrikgrafik The two rules you have set up are overlapping, which is why only one is being applied. The rule does not define a range stating, “If a customer books this range it will be this price.” It checks to see if a day falls within a defined range, and if it does, that day will then be priced according to that rule.

    If your standard rate was 10 and a rule was set up so that Wed-Thurs were 20, if a customer booked Tues-Sat (4 nights), the cost would be 10 + 20 + 20 + 10, or 60.

What you are wanting to automatically reduce the amount if it’s a long weekend is not currently available within Accommodations.

Thanks for your reply, currently our temporary solution for this is to give people who book a long weekend a discount coupon but this is not ideal. I Love the accommodations plugin a lot, but I hope it will we upgraded with some more advanced features in the future. It can be really powerful. The costs tab you see with a regular bookable product would be a great addition for example.

    Thanks a lot!!
