I was a firm believer that Yoast was the best. I watched Rank Math develop for more than a year before I finally broke down and made the switch. I tried it early on but it locked up one of my test sites so I figured it was buggy. But over the year or more since I first tested it, Rank Math kept evolving at a rapid pace. A few weeks ago, I gave it a second chance and was shocked to see how much better it has become. The free version does everything Yoast does and a whole lot more. I am now replacing Yoast on all of my client sites and will begin developing a tutorial on how to take full advantage of it–as I myself learn. My first thought was: Does it handle XML sitemaps? Yes it does! Does it import the Yoast data? Yes, it does that and most other SEO plugins previously installed. It finds them automatically and asks if you wish to proceed. WOW! It provides places for a default featured image and a logo to be included with shared content. I have yet to acquire a PRO version as I am still discovering all of the features of the FREE version, but I will. Don’t wait or ponder over which SEO plugin to choose. This one eclipses them all.
