Ranking on external sharing data

  • My installation:
    I have a WordPress 3.0 installation to create a RSS collecting website around a technological subject. For RSS collection I use the FeedWordPress plugin.

    Ranking:
    To add value, I’d like to be able to rank the posts on their online popularity. For example how many people share the news on Facebook, Twitter, etc..
    Is there a way (plugins?) I can rank these incoming articles on my blog on external popularity? The Postrank plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-postrank/) does something similar except that it only works for links to the WordPress website itself, not for the original articles on several external websites.
    If this is even possible at all, a ‘nice to have’ would be to be able to limit the list on popularity for the last x days or x weeks.

    Don’t know if this helps, but it is possible to link all ‘title’ and ‘read more’ directly to the articles on the original websites.
