    Hi,
    I recently noticed a problem in my site which is linked to rank math plugin.
    whenever I add a new category or product tag, though in settings it is designed to be index, but it changes to “no-index”.
    I add them to be index, not no-index. Would you please help me with that and see where the problem is?

    For your information:
    Rank Math V 1.0.37.4
    Wordpress V 5.2.5

    “Setting > Reading > Search Engine Visibility” is disabled.
    “RankMath: Golbal Meta > Robots Meta” are disabled.
    “Advanced” for the tag and category (add/edit) is enabled.

    Thank you for your message.

    It is not an issue but a feature in the Rank Math plugin.

    All the empty categories and tags have a NoIndex tag added to them until a post is assigned to them. This helps in getting a site penalized for indexing thin content pages.

    Though, we do not recommend doing that.
