    Hi,

I was wondering, do you consider this project in Beta? I thought it was stable and therefore find all of these rapid fire updates becoming annoying. Just about every time I load my site, there is an update for this plugin.

Could you spend more time testing before you provide updates, please?

  • You may want to go to Global Configuration and switch your update channel to the monthly one instead of standard (which pulls updates as they are released).

Monthly should slow it down for you.

P.S. I haven’t had any stability issues so I consider the plugin production safe.

I’m not going to change my global configuration so that you can use WordPress Repository for your testing ground. I will find another solution.

We’re not talking about a site-wide configuration. Under the Global Options menu section of Link Library, there’s a setting to specify if you want updates as they come or monthly only for the Link Library plugin.

This is a free plugin that I’ve been developing for 18 years in my spare time, which does not contain any freemium or premium functionality.

When people ask me for new features or find bugs, some of which have been in there for years and no one found until now, I like to fix it as soon as possible. If many people ask for things or report things close together, that means many updates around the same time.

This is why I built in an option for people who don’t like regular updates.

    Ells,

It’s really very easy lol. I took a quick screenshot to show you:

To be clear, I don’t have anything to do with the coding or support of this plugin. I am merely a very happy consumer of it.

@scootray I’m happy you are happy. I’ve gone on from this. No longer interested.

@jackdewey Regular updates I don’t mind. What you are doing is not “regular” updates.

I’m done. Have fund with your plugin.
