I had exactly the same problem and found the solution, at least on my case.
Turns out that the Graphene theme automatically includes the » element on the RSS title because it reimplements the wp_title() function using » as a separator.

Anyway, to solve this, edit the wp-content/themes/graphene/includes/theme-head.php file and replace every appearance of » to ‘:’.
It doesn’t hurt the aesthetics and solves the issue.

Unfortunately, editing core theme files is not recommended because those changes will be wiped out at the next update.

However, a maintenance update (1.6.1) for Graphene is now available, which fixes the issue. Update to the version, flush your server and browser cache, and everything should be good.
