• i have an active page in wordpress with the domain paffcatory.com, it was made with wordpress with the plugin Elementor ( i did not make it ). i found it very difficult to edit and i could not modify it. to access this page you could not enter from the common wordpress, but from another link that was also wordpress but it looked different ( https://paffactory. com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fpaffactory.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 ). So i decided to use the same email to open a new account in the original wordprees and make a new website. Now that i have it done i want to use the domain “paffactory.com”. I could always enter with the same email to the two different wordpress but at one moment that changed and when I try to enter the editor of the old website, it redirects me to the new website woordpres editor. so I can no longer enter or edit the original page, it is as if that editor had disappeared, but the page is still active. So I can not access the domain “paffactory” to unlink it and use it in my new website.

  • Where did you install the new WordPress? Was it in the same server and folder of the server?

i never instaled wordpres on my computer.
when i tried to enter the original account it was only possible with this link:
    https://paffactory.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fpaffactory.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
If i tried to use the official wordpress log-in portal that you find in google, it wouldn’t work.
So then i did a new account with the same email but from the official wordpress. so at some point i could access the two different wordpress with the same email, but one from the official wordpres, and the other from that link, that is also wordpress, but some how it looked different, the login portal and the editor as well. but inside it looked different because of the Elementor plugin i think. any way, the problem its that now is like the two account became one and the original wordpress account with the old password doesn’t work any more, in any link o portal. even that it did before. now the email will work only with the new password. an i will access to the new web site that i created. So i cant access to the editor of the original page any more. (paffctory.com) The problem is that i want to use that domain and i cant because i cant “acces” to desvinculate it.

It looks like you’ve mixed up two different websites, hence the confusion you’re experiencing.

The first one has the domain https://paffactory.com. This domain uses hosting company Hostinger’s name servers (DNS-PARKING.COM). Perhaps this was your original website, and most likely whoever built the site (you said you’re not the one who built it) installed the WordPress software at Hostinger to build the site. Let’s call this a www.ads-software.com website.

Then you created a second WordPress website, but this time on the WordPress.COM platform. The URL is https://paffactory.wordpress.com/.

Finally, it seems you tried to forward your domain paffactory.com to your WordPress.com sub-domain paffactory.wordpress.com — but this mapping is incomplete, hence the problem you’re experiencing now.

In case you didn’t realize it earlier, www.ads-software.com and WordPress.COM are two separate entities.

WordPres.ORG is the official home of the 100% free and open source WordPress software. But www.ads-software.com does not host any user sites: you need a 3rd-party hosting service to upload the WordPress software and build your site.

WordPress.COM is one such 3rd-party hosting service provider, except they offer a special platform that exclusively hosts WordPress sites and nothing else.

Since your new website is a WordPress.COM website, kindly use their official support channels for help. They’re the only ones who can access your account and website’s backend and fix any issue for you. Here’s their support URL: https://wordpress.com/support/contact/

Just a heads-up though: if you simply created a free website with WordPress.COM and haven’t purchased a paid plan yet, then what you’re trying to do is simply impossible: you cannot map a custom domain to a free WordPress.com website.

If, on the other hand, you simply want to use the old site, you need to track your steps back and undo whether you did to forward your domain paffactory.com to your WordPress.com sub-domain paffactory.wordpress.com. After doing this (and ONLY after doing this), then you can access your old site’s dashboard at the URL https://paffactory.com/wp-login.php

I hope that clears things up (a little bit) for you.

    Good luck!
