  • Hi @yandoos,

Have you tried using our shortcode which you can use inside your posts / pages editor?

    For posts:
    Current post rating – [ratingwidget]
Specified post rating – [ratingwidget post_id=123]
    For pages:
Current page rating – [ratingwidget type=”page”]
    Specified page rating – [ratingwidget type=”page” post_id=123]

Please do note that the post ID number should be in reference to the number of the post in your WP.
You can check the post number by:
? Logging in to your WP dashboard -> Post
? Then click on any post you have.
? See the post ID number in the URL.
    ? example:?https://amazingwebsite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=46&action=edit

Let me know if this worked for you.

    Hello thanks for your reply.

Yes I have looked at the shorcodes but none seem relevant.

I want to be able to rate each image on a single page that is displayed. Surely by using [ratingwidget type=”page”] this will rate the page and not each image?

    Any ideas

    Thanks

Hmm.. My apologies, but i’m not familiar with the jetpack image gallery.
Can you please post a link to your website so I can check.

I was thinking that each image is created as a post. Wherein if you click an image, you will be directed to that image’s post with the rating.

If that’s the case, in your image gallery you can use our Specified post rating – [ratingwidget post_id=123] shortcode. So that the ratings in your gallery will be the same as the post when you clicked the image.

Let me know of any concerns.

I do exactly this with ratings widget see https://photoclubmeteorite.patbell.co.uk/optical-illusions/
