Rate limiting doesn’t work

    Hello,

    I have set my rate limiting setting to be very strict, even the plugin itself tells me that.

    But it still doesn’t work. The 404 ones work perfectly, but requests don’t.

    I understand this feature does not work on cached pages. I have dynamic code on my website which is whitelisted from being cached. Therefore, it gets abused for DDoS attacks. I use WP Super Cache.
    Even though the code and the path is not being cached, the rate limiting feature doesn’t work.

    Is there any way to resolve this?

    Hello @drxj and thanks for reaching out to us!

    Could you post a screenshot of your rate-limiting settings for me to review?

    I am assuming you want to block bot traffic due to the DDoS vulnerability, correct? How do you know the rate-limiting is not working? Are you seeing anything in Tools > Live Traffic that might show blocks or connections?
