Rate limiting not working?

  • Hi. I have enabeled Rate Limiting. I have set Default Rate Limit per category per hour to 1.
    I would expect there would be sent max. 1 post to Twitter per hour.
    But sometimes there are more than 10 post pro hour send to Twitter.
    Am i doing something wrong?
    I am not sending posts but jobs to Twitter (_job_listing). Could that be the cause?

  • There seems to be a new rate limit; total of 10 posts in 24 hours. They updated the policy for the free API account recently.

    X updated there policy you mean? What i want is to post 1 job per hour max. I thought i can do that with the option Rate Limiting. But sometimes Xposter post more than 10 jobs in a hour to X.

    They did. But your XPoster rate limit problem might be a bug as it’s controlled by the plugin. Sorry for the mixup ??

    No problem. Perhaps Joe Dolson knows if it is a bug or not.
