    Hallo,

    bislang wurden bei Rechnungsk?ufen über Ratepay auch immer die Bildschirm-Elemente für “PayPal Package Tracking” und “Ratepay Zahlungsanweisungen” auf der Bestelldetailseite angezeigt.

    Seit dem letzten Update fehlen diese. Ist das gewollt oder ein Fehler?

    The appearance of tracking information appears upon the successful receipt of webhooks from PayPal. It seems that these webhooks might not have been received.

    To address this issue, please follow the steps below to ensure that your system is correctly receiving and processing webhooks from PayPal:

    1. Navigate to the Webhooks Status section within the Connection Tab of your PayPal Payments plugin dashboard.
    2. Click on “Resubscribe” to refresh your subscription to the webhooks.
    3. After the page reloads, select “Simulate” to test the correct reception of webhooks by your system.

    Furthermore, we would like to examine the plugin log files to gain more insight into this issue. Please note that log files are generated only if the “Logging” feature is activated in your plugin settings. To enable Logging:

    • Go to the “Connection” tab in your plugin settings and activate “Logging.”
    • Every transaction will now generate a log entry, which you can access by navigating to WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
    • Select the most recent “woocommerce-paypal-payments” file corresponding to the date of the transaction in question.

    It’s important to understand that if “Logging” wasn’t enabled before, there will be no previous records of the transactions. In that situation, we’ll need to wait for upcoming failed orders to generate new log entries.

    Please provide those log entries on our PrivateBin. After uploading, send us the link, so we can review them in detail.

    Thanks for your help.

    Debugging was even still activated and there are a lot of error messages during this period: “Error Failed to retrieve stored webhook data.”

    I have resubscribed to the webhook as you recommended and will continue to watch the logs.

    I’ll get back to you if the problem persists.

    Since I resubscribed the connection, it has been working again. Is this something I should do regularly?

    Resubscribing to webhooks isn’t a fix-all solution for issues with webhook delivery. Often, these problems can be traced back to caching. By resubscribing, you’re essentially refreshing the connection, but it’s important to remember that other factors could also be at play.
