Rather frustrated

We chose Cannyon because of its clean look, and what it said it could do, even with the free version. After 2 days of trying to get the site to look like we want it to, our frustration level is pretty high. We are thinking of leaving Cannyon altogether and trying a different theme.

We have:

1) tried to change the footer and header background colors because the default text is difficult to see. The titles are dark, and the text is gray, on a very dark background. There is nowhere in the free version to make these changes that we have been able to find.

2) We can’t figure out how to resize the logo to fit within the header.

3) Header tags appear different on different pages, and all we did was type text into the page itself, not change anything else.

4) The FAQ section looks like it was written by someone who knows no English at all.

5) You can’t get any help except in this Forum (I’ve gotten no answers to previous posts) without paying, not even a basic documentation manual or how to guide. That is pretty poor.

6) There is a place to put CSS code to do things, but we are not programmers or web designers and don’t know how to use this without hours of trying to figure it out.

Hopefully someone here will be able to help us soon.
