• I can’t get passed the activation process to even ‘try’ this thing out despite being ‘forced’ to create an account in order to get through the ‘wizard’ in order to even attempt to use this.
I haven’t time for this nor the patience. Needless to say I am a bit irritated. I can only surmise it’s using some kind of activation process out of the norm.

Since it has a built in ‘Database optimizer’ you would think it would delete it’s own database entries upon delete plugin. Nope, it doesn’t get them all.

I honestly tried to get this thing to work. Apparently I’m not the only one with the issue.

*Updated 3/31/2018 Facebook API call? (*.facebook.net) (generally my browsers block this kind of stuff)
I managed to get it activated by using IE 11.
Rating my initial observation of this plugins performance: A solid ‘Very Impressed’
Developers responsiveness elsewhere: A solid ‘2 thumbs up’

    Hi,

Can you please share what was the exact issue with the activation? Before there were some issues with it, but you are the first who reported it in the latest version.

If you deactivate and uninstall the plugin it deletes all tables in db. Did you remove it through WordPress admin?

Enter email and password to activate and it does nothing, hence ‘can’t get past activation process’
Nope didn’t delete them all, left at least two. I don’t remember exactly what they were.
Yes, I removed through WP admin.

FTR, I attempted to install and activate on two occasions Today. waited an hour in between after deleting and making sure all traces were gone, browser cache cleared and all the bells and whistles stuff.

Incidentally I did start a thread here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/apparently-a-problem-with-activation/

I managed to get it activated only by using IE 11

The plugin doesn’t use Facebook API. The problem was, that the Setup wizard is using custom admin screen (like WooCommerce setup), and some javascript variables wasn’t included in header (eg ajaxurl).

That caused javascript error for some plugins (eg Polylang) which broke the activation process.

We fixed that in 1.6.6, now you should be able to activate it with any browser.

Many thanks for reporting this issue!

For the record, I was unable to use FF (latest) to activate 1.6.6 version. I didn’t consider trying Chrome again, but on a whim using feedback about using ‘Edge’ elsewhere I opted to try IE 11.

I would like to let you know that we removed force activation ??

    Thank you for your feedback
