Rating with stars

    the standard functionality of Rating with stars doesn’t work anymore.
    I have the idea that went down with an upgrade. I didn’t find a trick in the forum. In the meanwhile I’m typing in the rating and adding the icons for the stars manually to the review sent me by email. Besides not being really handy this way of working, but for the client feels awkward that they can’t put in the rating by themselves.
    Could you help?

    Hi Paola,

    Thank you for explaining!

    It might be an issue caused by a plugin or your theme.
    I recommend installing this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
    After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.

    Go to its troubleshoot mode and only activate Strong Testimonials and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Nineteen for example) and no other plugins.

    Please also make sure that in your view you added the ‘rating’ field and also in your form. This might help: https://strongtestimonials.com/docs/basics/star-ratings/
