ratings breaking

Hi,

I only use the plugin for comments and lately the ratings are not appearing correctly.

When I wipe the plugin back to default they reappear, and I am able to then disable ratings for posts and pages but if I edit the comment system in any way it breaks.(like change it to arrows 1 like I want or position it at bottom right)

Even setting it back to the default thumbs remains broken and I have to reset the plugin again. Any ideas?
