Ratings not shown on Home and Archives

    This was a problem when upgrading to 5.0, then was fixed and clarified how to enable it in settings. However after one of the latest releases it failed again.

    How to reproduce:
    – Environment: KK Star Ratings 5.2.6, WordPress 5.9
    – In KK Star Ratings settings enable Home, Archives and Posts

    Expected:
    Ratings to be shown on the selected pages.

    Current:
    Ratings are shown in Posts but not in Archives or on the Home page.

    Does it work for 5.2.5? Try downgrading and let me know.

    5.2.4 is the last version that works.

    This should be fixed in 5.2.7

    5.2.7 did not fix this, 5.2.4 still works.

    In addition I got errors reported for my external cron and the website went into maintenance and/or error mode (I restored the whole web space several times while testing). This might or might not be related to auto-updating kk Star Ratings to 5.2.7 since nothing else changed. Therefore I disabled auto-updating for that plugin for now and stay an 5.2.4. Manual update to 5.2.7 made it possible to test it and I’ll test new versions aswell.

    I am not able to reproduce this bug as it is working correctly for me.

    Do you have errors in the console when on Home or Archives? I rewrote the javascript code to avoid using jQuery and maybe that is causing issues in archives. I can only tell if you activate 5.2.7 and send me a link so I can check the console and debug the issue.

    For me, it is working fine in Home and Archives.

    Fixed in 5.2.8. The issue was with elementor and the_content filter priority.
