    Hi there, we are currently using the free version of the plugin. Currently we find that we are having to re-authenticate the plugin a couple times per month. Do you have a suggestion as to what could cause this?

    Thank you for contacting us! Here are some of the common causes for this type of problem:

    • Changing the account’s password
    • Having the role removed from one of the connected Facebook pages (for Business Profile connections)
    • Clicking the ‘log out from all devices’ button in the app
    • Removing the Smash Balloon app from the Apps and Websites settings for the account
    • Instagram terminating the connection if they notice a security issue on the account such as a possible account intrusion

    If you are using a Business Profile connection (authorizing the connection through Facebook) and you are connecting to more than one account or on more than one WordPress website, it’s likely that the connection to one account is getting removed while another is being set up. The important thing to remember is that there is a single connection between your Facebook account and the Smash Balloon app. When you are creating the connection you’ll want to make sure that all accounts, pages, and permissions are selected so previous connections are not broken. I can send more detailed instructions about this if you think that might be the problem you are running into.
