Re-Captcha plugin no longer recognized

  • On the contact us settings in theme options, I keep getting an error that “Required Captcha Plugin

    Please install WP-reCAPTCHA plugin to enable spam protection on the contact page.”

    However this plugin IS and has been installed and all of the keys are properly entered in both locations and it’s still not showing up on my contact page. All the theme/plugins/wordpress are the current version. PLEASE HELP we are getting slammed with spam!
