Our CEO’s home wifi router was blocked after 3 bad login attempts, we saw the events when searching Cerber on the IP address, so Cerber observed the attempts. I want to allow him back in, but can’t find the IP on any sort of ‘Blocked’ list. We disabled the plugin and poof, he’s back in, but I’d rather keep Cerber up and just allow him back in by getting him un-blocked in Cerber. Suggestions?

  • Can you go to

    wp-admin > WP Cerber > Dashboard > Lockouts

and remove the block from there?

Or you could add his IP to ‘Access lists’ from the same ‘Dashboard’ menu, if he has ‘somewhat’ static IP.

    1. To release (unlock) the IP address go to the “Lockouts” tab.
    2. Once you’ve done this, your boss HAS TO use the proper password otherwise he will be locked out again immediately and you will need to return to the point #1.

Note: releasing an IP address doesn’t reset the counter of failed login attempts.
