re SEO – meta/description for subdomain

I’m currently running wordpress weaver shadow theme and i’m running the subdomains plugin so that some of my pages appear as subdomains. As I want these pages to rank seperately (ie for different keywords than my main site) i’m looking to change the description meta for these subdomains however for some reason it doesn’t seem to register in google. I’m currently using SEO all in one plugin to do this.

If anyone has any suggestions or has experience this issue themselves I would love to hear from you.
