• I purchased a third-party theme and after installing it the first time, I needed to delete it and re-install again as it was missing a few elements in the theme. After i installed it again, it no longer works now and I get the message ” Opps, page not found” even thought it was working before. I have tried downloading the files from the theme I purchased to re install it again step by step like I did the first time a few times now, but ever since i deleted the theme and re-installed it the first time, I continue to get the same “page not found” message when I click to customize.

I should note that this is a brand new website I am building so I didn’t have any prior content before this.

I already reached out to the person I purchased it from to see if they can help but in the meantime, is there a way I can reset my wordpress? I don’t think the files I’ve downloaded are the issue rather maybe I messed something up while deleting and re-installing the theme.

  • For 404, it seems you may just have to configure the site/theme to display the relevant information.

But if you’d like to start over…

How do I configure the theme to display the information? Sorry I am brand new at this and still learning my way around the site. I can try to do this first before I try the plugin

How do I configure the theme to display the information?

That would depend on the specific theme.

And as this is a commercial theme, I’ve no way of installing it to figure out how it works and assist you.
