Reactivate the quiz after expiration of one month

  • Hi Alex,

    I need your help again.
    I require to reactivate the quiz for the user after expiration of one month from his last attempt. To clarify, a user can take only three attempt in one month.I can restrict three attempts but not able to reactivate the quiz after one months expiration for the same user.

    Hi Shailey,

    I’m afraid that for a single quiz you can only limit the max attempts, and specify an amount of hours or days between each attempt.

    You can’t currently say ‘limit to 3 attempts per month’ which I think is what you want.

    There is a workaround though. You could duplicate the quiz and redeploy that quiz with the ‘max 3 attempts’ option. Basically you’d have to duplicate the quiz each month and replace the quiz ID in the shortcode.

    It’s not ideal, but it would be a temporary solution until we built in the feature that you need I.e. X attempts per month/week
